What to Expect when you Hire me for an Apostille Service
Colorado Apostille Form for the Secretary of State
When you need to get an apostille for a document, like a birth certificate, marriage certificate, or power of attorney, it can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. At Notary On Demand CO, my goal is to make the process simple, quick, and stress-free. Here’s how it typically goes when you hire me to handle your apostille in Colorado.
Step 1: Free Consultation
First, you’ll reach out (call, text, or email) to tell me about your document and what country it’s going to. During this quick chat, I’ll confirm if the document is eligible for an apostille and explain what certified or notarized copies might be needed.
If you don’t have the certified copy yet (for example, of a birth certificate), I’ll guide you on how to order it from the right agency or vital records office.
Step 2: Document Review and Notarization
Once you have the document ready, we’ll meet, often the same day or within 24 hours. As a mobile notary, I can come to you.
If the document needs to be notarized first, I’ll handle that on the spot, making sure everything meets Colorado’s requirements before it goes to the Secretary of State.
Step 3: Apostille Processing
After notarization (or once I have your certified copy), I take care of submitting the document to the Colorado Secretary of State for apostille certification.
Depending on your timeline, I can submit it by mail or in person for faster processing. I’ll keep you updated throughout, so you never have to wonder where your document is.
Step 4: Delivery
Once the apostille is issued, I’ll get the document back to you safely. You can choose pick-up, delivery to your home or office, or mailing to anywhere you need, even internationally.
